This is a jetty at a beach not far from where I live. Depending on the tide and light conditions, it can make for a good spot to shoot. The grain in this photo is intentional, and not added in post production (the sun was only about 30 minutes from fully setting, so light conditions weren't favorable.) Nonetheless, I felt the grain worked in favor of the photo. Let me know what you think. Keep in mind, I am open to any and all constructive criticism, so feel free to let me know what you think about my work.

I think the BW & grain do work well. Personally I prefer it when the horizon in a shot is level- i think our eyes & mind expect it that way so it is more pleasing for that reason.

@michele: I see your point, however, that is exactly why I chose not to crop it level. I think the slight diagonal gives the photo a dynamic that would feel too "grounded" if it were level. Good catch on that, though, and thanks for the input!
